Welcome to SS2010

The 23rd Taiwan Spring School on Particles and Fields will be hosted by National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU) at Tainan during March 31-April 3, 2010. This series of schools has had a long tradition with the first one being organized by Prof. Chien-Er Lee at Si-Tou in 1986. The main purpose of the school is to introduce to graduate students recent progress on important and hot topics in particles and fields.

The school will contain lectures in mornings and afternoons. The level of lectures is similar to that of TASI. Due to the time constraint, we will not have recitation session. The school is sponsored by APTCP , IOP of Academia Sinica , National Science Council (NSC) and NCKU . Four lunches, one reception, and one banquet will be provided to all participants without charge.

Registration will start from 1 Feb, 2010. School applicants should proceed the on-line registration through the website http://www.ncts.ncku.edu.tw/phys/pf/100331/ . No registration fee is needed. Most participants will be accommodated in the hotel listed in the page of Accommodation.

Due to the limited budget, if local students (master and doctor levels) and postdoctors cannot get support from their groups, their transportation and accommodations shared with roommates may be provided after review by the committee. The application for financial support should be submitted before the deadline of registration.

For those participants who take the high speed railway (HSR) to arrive at and depart from the school site easily, the school will prepare the free shuttle bus for them. Please check the available bus on the registration page.
