Introduction :
Geometry is a big branch of study in mathematics. It consists of many important areas and subjects. During the year, we continue our research in algebraic geometry, dynamical systems, symplectic and contact geometry. Joint seminars and workshops are planned to promote research collaboration.
Research topics in progress (NCTS South) :
Soliton surfaces
Fantechi-Goettsche rings and quantum cohomology rings of global quotient orbifolds
Surgery and invariants of Lagrangian surfaces in Stein surfaces
Symplectic mapping class groups
Geometric evolution equations related to curvature flows
Cartan flow on a closed CR 3-manifold
Harnack estimates for the CR heat equation
CR Obata-type Theorem on closed pseudohermitian (2n+1)-manifolds.
